My goals here are to help everyone that needs to find employment to have the opportunity to do so.  Every situation is unique, but there are similar circumstances for everyone.  So if you want to fill out the Walmart application, then visit the nearest Walmart hiring center near you, and do not limit yourself when seeking a job.  The following tips can help your job quest.

  1. Send your resume to the companies that you are interested in.  Send a small version.
  2. Find a company or companies that you want to work for.
  3. Write a nice but simple cover letter, mention your goals and a few other personal points. Enclose your resume, do not seal the envelope.
  4. Send at least (2) two letters of recommendation, these can come from a variety of places to include teachers, past employers, relatives, places of charitable work, and your youth group ministers, and pastors.

The wait time on most Walmart jobs is about two weeks, after that it is perfectly OK to engage the application process, and contact the Walmart hiring center that you used to apply with.  The same goes for a host of other online job application processes.  The same applies to most all.  Waiting longer will send the message that you are really not needing employment, that is the wrong message to send.
